Please
send abstract by filling in the annexed registration form:
A. Abstract should be saved as a Microsoft Word file (Word 98 and
later) using Arial in the font size indicated on each section. Abstract
should be 8.50 x 11 inches long, keeping margins within 2.5 cm (0.98
inches) on each side.
B. Leave two lines separation between the section containing the title,
authors, addresses and keywords and the text section. Text may contain
graphs and figures and everything should be contained within the above
established margins.

In the registration form, please mark in the upper right corner
within parenthesis, the number of the session (s) where your work
should be presented, giving two options in order of priority, for
example: (1,5)

D. Abstracts can be sent from May 12th 2003.
The deadline for abstracts is August, 15th.

Should registration payments (at least one author per abstract) not
be received before August 15th or late abstract submissions would
be the cause for abstracts not to be published in the Congress Memoirs.
F. Letters of acceptance will be mailed before August 29th, 2003.
Graduate Student Session: The Scientific Committee of the Congress
will choose eight abstracts based on their scientific merits, for
an oral presentation in a plenary symposium. Designated candidates
will be notified in advance by e-mail.
Late evening poster sessions:
The poster size should be: 90 cm (35.43 inches) wide and 110 cm (43.30
inches) long, following a similar format as the above described in
the abstract submission form.
Posters should be up from Tuesday November 4th before noon until Thursday,
November 6th at 20:00 hours.
Even poster session (considering the last digit) will be on Tuesday,
November 4th
Odd poster session (last digit) will be on Wednesday, November 5th
from 21:00 to 23:00 h. During both sessions drinks will be served
(sodas and/or beers).
The posters will be fixed with double-sided or normal tape, that each
exhibitor should bring by his/her own. It’s strictly prohibited
to use tacks or any other material that could damage or perforate
the stand walls. |
